I am trying to recreate the original Red Baron from a picture that I found so I made white underlays for the wings so that the black part shows up better. This one is definitely a work in progress. I never expected to spend three or four days on a puzzle that is 186 pieces. I did find the spares though…lol! This one is definitely a work in progress.

It’s looking great so far Nita. I’ve always thought this looked like the Red Baron so painting it in his colours is great.

Thanks so much @Atropex I’ve made inserts for MANY of my models. I mean, Robotime made the cutest details all lasered out when making them , so I try my best to accentuate them when I can.

Oh, so this one was your misterious “easier/smaller” kit!

I’ve built this 3D Airplane but as you know I haven’t painted it myself, so it was a straighforward build :rofl:

It’s looking amazing, your efforts are definitely paying off. I just hope you don’t break any of those think wooden parts. I sure did.

Absolutely agreed :rofl: I actually almost broke a part of the main body at the very beginning while pushing the other parts through it.
