Getting the size right is a very tricky thing. At first you think its going to fit but then you notice its just a bit off. Make up the difference with positioning and focal range on the camera. No reason to waste a figure. Plus its more practice for painting. Skin tone and anime skin tone are two wildly different shades of color.
Testing the waters can be time consuming but it answers many questions. 90mm is the average height of a figure at 1/20 scale. Gatcha figures often come at 1/18 and 1/24 scale. They can work if its a sitting or posing figure. At full height they will look off.
The best way to solve the problem is often more tedious work. Pay attention to the details, check the manuals, and be gentle with your own expectations. There is reward in work. Refine until its the way you want it to be, nobody else can see your perspective be critical about your own work.
I am amazed! You make good figures even if there are still test prints!
I love the way you incorporate the characters with the kit to make a beautiful scene!
What a talent!
Making these figures to include in the builds is great. I love how your title of your post was also reflected in your mini figure.
I really love your realism by including figures.
