My version vs Original!
I decided to change things up a bit. I am so happy with the end product.
I painted just about everything. The couch, the tables, the furniture, the lamp shade, the espresso machine, some frames. Lastly I made a new rug. The rug is exactly what I have in my living room! I also put my own pictures in the frames. The pillow I painted and drew my own pattern. Lastly I added some collar to the cat. I dont know if it is supposed to be a cat pillow or a kitty but either way I redid!

Looks SUPER good! What I love about that kind of kits is how customizable they are, right? You can always decide wether to follow it as it is or do your own adjustments. I even think I like your display more! I mean, otherwise I’d need to jump to the sofa every time I wanna read a book. So inconvenient.
I also like your rug! But I have an important question, @jeanneL. You’ve said that’s the exact same rug you have at home. How do you manage with a rug that small?

@TheToday this was a simple process. Let me tell you how I did this.
I just love my LR rug and wanted to incorporate the pattern into one of my builds.When I opened the SC Cozy Lounge, I knew this was my chance.
Iwent online to the store we purchased the rug at, found a picture of my rug, and saved the image. I then took the picture and inserted onto Word. I then sized the picture down to what would fit in the SC. I then printed it out onto a 12"x12" cardstock. I was able to carefully cut it out and placed into the room!
I mean… I was just following along with the jokes but thanks a lot for the detailed explanations! Good to know if I ever happen to be willing to do something like this myself.

I like your version way better. I would have never thought of painting plastic creator kits. Your skill.is really evolving.
