We have been under a tornado watch for approximately 8 hours of the day so I needed something to concentrate on without worrying about this darn weather. I got a ton of painting done and I’m very happy with the outcome so far. If you look closely at the picture with the wallpaper where I am painting the red lines, you can clearly see the difference from the before and after. I think I should be able to complete it by the weekend.
My country is also having storm and flood. The storm will come in a few days. I’m also worried about the weather right now.
Be safe! I understand your worries but I’m sure everything will be fine.
I’m also glad you can find a relaxing place for the mind in the DIY kits! It’s looking pretty nice already ![]()
Thank you so much. The tornado watch ended at 7pm…All is good. I just know those things spring out of nowhere. When a watch becomes a warning, it happens very fast. @TheToday These models require my focus and that is why I love them so much.
Your progress looks amazing, @Nita_Davis! What a perfect way to stay focused during such stormy weather. I would be really scared ![]()
I hope it will all blow over. I can clearly see you’re improvements. It makes a big difference.
Oh gee stay safe! That’s some wild weather ![]()
Your painting work looks so great, are you going over each individual stripe free hand or are you using a ruler?
Yes, looks much more vibrant! Stay safe! and how are you feeling?
Wow you really painted all the details on the wall one by one! Amazing work! ![]()
Oh no. Sorry to hear that. Please stay safe. @ThaoNguyen
Thanks so much. @Nectarines . I am taping one side of the line and just brushing it.
Thank you @Wenbare . These models really help to put my mind in a different place.
Thanks @Jerry_Boswijk
Thank you @JDisaduck . I didn’t do the back side of that front door wall and I haven’t decided if I want to do that back side of the roof that nobody will see. That green took took coats on the roof so I might be cutting some corners…LOL!
Ah yes I see. Smart! Looking great!
Thank you!
@Nectarines
It’s up to you!
but if you can’t see it once it’s all assembled I’ll skip it but that’s lazy me.
Since the roof goes on near the end…I’ll just see how much more energy I have for the painting left…It is waning…
@JDisaduck
Yeah I get it. Sometimes I just want to move on after working on something for too long. ![]()
Hopefully, the tornadoes have stayed calm. They’re not very common in the Netherlands, and if one does come, it’ll be a small one. I think it would be very exciting if there’s a chance of a tornado. Your progress looks fantastic! The colors are becoming so much brighter thanks to the painting.
