Starting a new project: The starry night from Rowood

You’ll have to be patient. Today I was able to build one house, and I have to work the next few days, so it will be a while before I post another update

Thank you @Wenbare :hugs: i really like this build. I have to work the next few days, so I won’t be able to build much. I also have to write four Sinterklaas poems, so I won’t have time to build on my next free evening either

I’ve already applied 4 coats @jeanneL  The acrylic markers I have aren’t the best quality, so they don’t cover very well.

I definitely don’t think it matters at all that they aren’t exact :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I wouldn’t have even noticed had you not mentioned it!

I think it’s perfect for the houses. I think I’ll paint the big tree in the foreground instead of using markers. You can see the edges very clearly here, and I think it looks best when they’re painted.

I agree with you, I think it will look better painted! I can’t wait to see :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

ahhh. Usually after 2 or 3 mine are good but some of those edges do just suck it up!

With paint, I often get the edges completely covered, but with markers, you still see the color variations in the wood. Now, the acrylic markers I have were also cheap, so I can’t expect too much from them.

This is a beautiful kit. Looking forward to your update.
