This spring, I feel like I need a gentle reset. I’d begin with A · Spring Cleaning , paired with the Rolife A-Frame Cabin — a quiet, simple space where everything feels lighter once the windows are open and fresh air comes in, like starting over in a place that finally feels like my own. Then I’d move into B · Gardening with the Rolife Cathy’s Flower House, planting and arranging tiny blooms, watching colors slowly come together, as if life is softly returning after a long pause. As the days grow warmer, I imagine a peaceful C · Backyard Time , sitting with the Rolife Blooming Tea Garden, pouring a cup of tea and letting the afternoon stretch out, unhurried and calm. And somewhere along the way, I’d like to take a quiet D · Day Trip in Spring , bringing with me the feeling of the Rowood Glittering Water Lily Wall — something serene, reflective, almost like standing by water and watching the world slow down.

I guess this is what spring means to me — not rushing forward, but gently finding my way back to warmth, to softness, and to the small moments that make everything feel alive again.

Here in Spain we celebrate Holy Week in spring.

I dedicate time every day to B · Gardening ; my apartment is full of plants.

I’ll take advantage of the spring D · Day Trip in Spring to visit my mother, who lives a bit far away, for a day trip to the beach.

To disconnect and recharge.

(I don’t have any floral kits, so I’ll add the ones I do have.)

I’m going to the bookstore to buy a book for my mother, since she loves to read.

The best part of days off is seeing family and loved ones.

In the Philippines, “Spring” means the height of our tropical summer and the solemn, quiet days of Holy Week. For my family, this season is defined by Pagtatama which is a traditional deep cleaning of our home to prepare for the renewal of Easter.

This year, my daughter and I turned our Spring Cleaning into a beautiful, quiet ritual. Amidst the heat and the “Holy Week hush” that settles over our neighborhood, we found our peace in building the Rolife Pompompurin Leisurely Breakfast kit together.

As a child on the autism spectrum, I believe she finds so much calm in the tactile rhythm of crafting. While we cleared away the physical clutter of the house, we dedicated our afternoons to this miniature world. This kit perfectly captures our favorite “Pinoy” moment: a slow, breezy Sabado de Gloria morning, where the house is finally clean, the sun is shining, and we can finally sit down for a peaceful breakfast. It’s a reminder that the best part of cleaning isn’t just a tidy room. It’s making space for these cozy, heartwarming memories with the people we love most.

As @Sasa has mentioned in her post, in Spain we celebrate Holly Week during Easter, so it’s a holiday and a sacred period for many people.

For me though, Spring means D · Day Trip in Spring .

For me, there’s just something magical and special about nature. After the rainy months of winter (specially January and February around here), Spring is the moment when everything comes to life, when trees and brushes and fields and grass and everything is greener, everything is more colourful, and the flowers are blooming and rising everywhere you may look at.

I live in the city, so when Spring comes, when the rains and the cold weather start to leave us, I start my every-year March-onwards routine, which is to take the car to the countryside and enjoy a good day trip to any of the many hiking areas we have in the Sierra de Madrid, which is how we call the mountain-filled countryside of the northwest side of the region. I’d wake up early, prepare a tupperware or a bocadillo (that’s how we call a sandwich made with a baguette), a bottle of water, a hat, maybe some sunscreen, my sunglasses, and with my backpack ready, I’d take on of those hiking trails I already know pretty well. I usually do 15 to 20 km (which for those of you who don’t understand that would be something like 9 to 12 miles ish).

During that hike, usually once I reach a viewpoint or a summit, I stop to enjoy my lunch, enjoy the views, and probably even a good read. It’s always fun to hike with other people, but I also find a really nice and unique peace in the hiking me time. Not a lot of people can enjoy being alone (which is not the same as being lonely though), so I can be proud that I’m one of those!

Combining all those (I mean, Spring, nature, flowers, and reading in the middle of nowhere in nature), I believe my latest build, the Wooden Blooming Book, perfectly stands for what’s the meaning of Spring for me.

This Spring i will be dedicating my Builds to more Floral type kits. i Bought single rolife flowers and rolife flower bundles!

D - Day Trip in Spring: Every Spring i take My two Sons and one daughter to a restarunt of their choice as “Tradition” ofcourse they always choose a chippy then after we would always go to Weston Super mare..a very Well known british Beach.

A - Spring Cleaning: I dont do much more cleaning in spring but i do do a special task every spring..My nightmare…Cleaning out my Children’s Wardrobe which most Mothers will agree its a Nightmare to clean

B - Gardening: Every spring i go to my greenhouse to Change out or Plant new seeds and Vegetables "(Or fruits) my Greenhouse is definetly a mess which is why im not showing it (ill show an A.I version of what it kinda looks like) dont judge its embarrassing sight to behold Sometimes my Snakish kids will steal a Non-Ripe Fruit Which they regret doing

Backyard Time

i will be spending time in my garden, well at least if the weather gets better than it is today, husband his fingers are already itching getting the garden furniture outside since this weekend, hoping to do a BBQ very soon

Spring is such a beautiful time of the year, plants, trees & flowers race to burst into bud for the summer months ahead.

I’ve already started my A) spring cleaning which I’d pair with the dream coffee factory.. nothing gets done until I’ve had my first cup of perfectly brewed coffee. Enjoying my morning coffee allows me time for relaxation and reflection. I organise my thoughts and plan my day ahead. The snuggles with my two furry babies makes these moments even more special.

I love & plan to spend time in my B) garden this spring. My garden is blessed with lots of wildlife . my greenhouse which I pair with Cathy’s greenhouse has a nest of mice, keeping safe from neighbourhood cats and my two small dogs. The mice are allowed to roam as freely as the ladybugs, hedgehogs & slow worms who have chosen to share their patch of land with me.

C) Back yard time has become precious over the years, the careful balance of flowers, produce and water gardens have become more of a sanctuary to me.. on days I’m not well enough to venture into the garden, my dogs accompany me to the summer house which has become my craft room where I enjoy my 3d puzzling. Or my Timezone pinball machine which of course is paired with the Rkor pinball machine.

I’m planning a D) day trip to see my daughter who I’ve introduced to 3D puzzling. Every moment with my children is so special . My daughter lives in the same town as Alice in wonderland was written, and therefore is paired with Fall into wonderland. We have amazing adventures together, from trekking through local woods, walking along the river or sharing a picnic and a game of cards. We are both very competitive and laugh heartily at & with each other.

To me spring reminds me of the eternal cycle of life and reminds me how precious every day is. Spring brings me peace, fulfilment and utter joy.

This spring, my family and I are planning a short gateway. A quiet stay in a wooden house, something like an A-frame cabin.

After building the Rolife A-frame cabin, we were honestly amazed by how beautiful it turned out.

It made us imagine.. how nice it would be if we could really stay in a place like this

Somewhere deep in the woods. No plans, no distractions. Just a moment to breathe and exist.

A place where time slows down, and everything feels a little softer.

My Spring Journey

This spring, I feel a quiet need to escape, to leave behind the noise of everyday life and find something softer, something real. I would choose D · Day Trip in Spring, because sometimes the best way to heal is simply to go somewhere new, even just for a day.

I imagine walking without rushing, letting the sunlight warm my face, breathing in the fresh air as if it could carry away all the weight I’ve been holding. Maybe I’ll sit outside with a simple meal, watching people pass by, or stop somewhere peaceful to take photos — not just to remember the place, but to remember how I felt in that moment.

There’s something about spring that feels like a quiet promise… that even after difficult days, life can begin again in small, gentle ways.

For me, this season is not just about going somewhere new, but about slowly finding my way back to myself. I love cherry blossoms, I wish in Spain we would have the typical pinks like in Japan, I want to get all the sakura puzzles I have pending to buy the one on the TV and the one on the train

My Spring Journey

Spring to me, is the quiet promise that something beautiful is about to begin again!

This spring feels like a fresh start in the softest way. I’m starting with A · Spring Cleaning , clearing my space and my mind to make room for something new to bloom. It is like shedding the heaviness of winter and making room for light, softness, and growth!

Then comes B · Gardening —my favorite part. Even though I live in an apartment now, I dream about tending to a tiny patch of dirt right outside my window, growing something beautiful with my own hands. I bought some lavender seeds and think I’m going to plant those! I’m having a lavender themed wedding in October and would love to have my own fresh flowers there. My photo: this little flower basket captures that feeling perfectly, like a garden I can hold onto while I wait for the real one!

As the days get warmer, I imagine C · Backyard Time —slow mornings, soft sunlight, and quiet moments surrounded by flowers, even if my “backyard” is just a cozy corner filled with blooms like these. My cozy corner glows with color and calmness which is perfect for building time! I also plan on building lots of kits outside in the backyard sun with my pup Max, my favorite company while building It’s in these quiet moments that time slows and everything feels possible again

And somewhere in the season, I’ll chase D · Day Trip in Spring my dream, wandering through fields of flowers, letting the breeze carry away every worry, bringing home inspiration to grow something real! I do hope to take a trip this spring where I can spend quality time with my family and enjoy this new season of Spring

For me, spring is about patience, growth, and finding beauty wherever you are, even if it starts with just a little basket of flowers

For me…there will be no spring cleaning…cinderella GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY I sweep my floors daily looking for dropped parts. Gardening? Not a chance. I consider myself a hospice center where plants go to die. Backyard time? Nope. It is already 86 degrees here. Day trip…going to see the sunflower fields about 10 miles away with Mom who can grow anything and everything.
