Had some time to work on the cheaper detective agency. I found out I didnt have the white felt anymore for the red bag. I used cardboard instead and that worked but the glue i used on the chair got all messy and i decided to throw it out. I did manage to make the small binoculers and started on the chandelier. My wire work is ace. So i stopped on a high note. But then came the message from my sick colleague. He has terminal cancer and he will not get better and probably doesn’t have long. Like i said sometimes live really sucks.
The wire work looks impeccable
I’m so sorry to hear that about your colleague. ![]()
Had a recent death around me too and I agree life sucks. Take care!

OMG well that is not good news. I am so sorry. After seeing his wanted poster, I feel like we all know him. Please know I will pray for strength and peace for him.
Keep up this progress though as this will give him something to smile about and you too.

The bag design is cute. I almost want to attempt my own from random materials.

I’m so sorry to hear about your colleague… life really does hit hard sometimes. You still did an amazing job with the pieces you managed to finish. Your wire work looks great, and cardboard was such a clever solution. Be gentle with yourself, okay? Sending you a big hug ![]()
Thanks, i used a rouns bottle cap to make the round curve. That works great.
That is not the same colleague. But if i wanted to make one for him I would have to hurry I’m afraid.
The kit im making is for a different colleque.
It is my therapy indeed.

Your wiring work is fantastic! It looks perfect. The bag seems difficult to make to me too…I’m sure the end result will be fantastic. ![]()
Oh dear… you just never know when might be the last time you see somebody. I hate that life is that way. I have seen people with cancer diagnosis live much longer than they were expected though. I hope that is the case with your friend
Thank you so much.
