Continuing with the spring lantern display. This Robotime set uses a Type-C port instead of batteries. I like this idea because I often forget the batteries, which can easily damage the power supply. And pressing the switch is simpler than flipping a switch on the battery compartment. That’s an advantage, but the disadvantage is that the light wires will run crisscross, with nothing to cover them, making the lights easily visible. This detracts from the classic feel. Therefore, I used red paper to cover them. The red color is very suitable for Tet (Vietnamese New Year). The details are very skillfully crafted.
The koi fish is so neat! Theres actually a lot more to this build than I thought there would be just looking at the picture !
It’s looking great so far.
I’m excited to see more updates about this kit since it’s uncommon here.
Thank you. me too
Thanks you
OMG! This looks so beautiful!
thank you so much
That koi fish is so cute and neat. And I love your idea when it comes to the wires. You are so great!
Thanks a lot!
Many thanks!
This looks amazing, thanks for sharing! I love the fish on top though.
And yeah, I prefer the usb-c option over the batteries any day. The red cover for the lights is a great idea! Well thought.
I think disguising the wiring with red looks great. Almost like it’s meant to be part of the build.
Nice work so far.
Thank you
So beautiful. Thank you
Any time!
thank you
The details are so pretty. You have made the lanterns and the Koi fish so well.
This is so cool!
Wow the koi fish!
I really like the design of this one too! USB-C is a nice upgrade. I don’t like using batteries as much.
Thank you
