I have not been able to go back to my builds lately because I was busy building my daughter’s costume for her school’s activity.
She wanted to dress up as Hornet from the SilkSong game and so… Here’s what the parents did for her.

Forming the mask needed a lot of trial and error to get the right size. I got a free pattern online, thankfully.

Then my husband made the needle out of tissue rolls and cardboards and I painted them silver.
So happy with the result. She looked so cool even though she says she’s not able to see much when she uses the mask :sweat_smile::joy: She still loves it.

This is really impressive! Do you do other sewing or paper crafts? I think it is rare for parents to make their kids costumes. These days everyone just goes out and buys stuff. I can see that you do a lot for your kids. :heart:

I know some sewing but rarely have time to do so. So I just buy the shawl, skirt and tights separately online hehehe since I can’t find any ready made costume of this character.

Thank you @Jerry_Boswijk I actually made the mask 3 times. The 2nd one was too small and actually fits on my 4yo son hahaha

You can probably reuse some of the clothes for future costumes. I think the costume very impressive and creative.
