I am on the second row of cannons (the gold and the black ones). Good news is the snapped right into their holder. Bad news is when I placed them into the slot on the ship, they were really loose. I have already glued a couple things down because they kept falling off (ropes, gate in front with little step ladders). I am thinking of gluing so I do not lose them. Would this be an issue @CustomerService? Also the bell - lantern thing up front. (arrow in picture) isnt secured down and wobbly. I tried to push down and it feels like it goes as far as it can, so is it just wobbly?

Hmm looking at your photo I would imagine it’s fine to glue down the bell? I would be worried of losing it? 
I also believe gluing it would be okay but I have not tried making this yet so let’s wait for someone to give us some info.
Hard to glue down as it doesnt sit on a surface. It kind of bobbles around.
I think you should wait for an answer from @CustomerService. I’m a little worried that gluing will affect the functionality of the guns.
I did glue down the upper cannons
those top ones did not move so I glued.

I glued the lower cannons too, and honestly I messed it up a bit because I didn’t glue them in the perfect position. Now sometimes it’s a bit harder for them to pop out when using the mechanism, but it works, sooo… 
The upper cannons are no problem at all since they don’t move, and for all the parts that don’t move, I also used glue at different moments so everything stayed nicely in place.

I tested the mechanism that brings the cannons out and it worked well, waxed the heck out of everything. Once all was done, they were a little harder to move. They move but the switch is a bit stiffer. Not overly concerned because this will pretty much be a display
Yes, the same happens to me. But just like you, since it’s mainly for display, it doesn’t really bother me. And honestly, I have it displayed in my bedroom with a lot of pride!! hehe

This may be due to a cutting issue with some of the wood panels. You can use glue to secure them. If you don’t have suitable glue, we can mail you some alcohol-based adhesive.

I think you can glue anything that isn’t a moving part. It looks good so far @jeanneL
