Welcome to the community.
I haven’t built the owl clock, so can’t offer any tips but I’m sure some of our wonderful builders will.
I have seen this kit and really liked the look of it. I think you’ve made it looks fantastic.
Thank you ![]()
You’re welcome. @Rose
Hi and thank you ! I will be posting my kits ive been unwell recently so I will be back at my crafting desk very soon ! X
We look forward to seeing them
My name is Don. I’m 77 and retired in Toledo, Ohio I started assembling 3D wooden puzzles during Covid as a means of keeping busy with something besides watching TV. Over the years I have built around 50 of them. I have a bunch on display in our apartment and have given quite a few to family and friends. I usually spend about an hour a day depending on how my back feels. Some of them that I have gotten in natural state I have painted, others I’ve left in their natural state.
I tried uploading some of my recent builds but kept getting error messages, so was unable to attach any
Hi Don.
Welcome to this lovely community. It’s great that you are keeping yourself busy with builds. I hope that your back pain doesn’t interfere too much. It’s amazing how much we can’t do when our back is playing up.
Take care and look forward to seeing you around.
Hi and welcome Don. Unsure what you have tried for pictures but see if this works:
Select the circled icon as shown in picture.
that opens a drop down box where you can select your pictures to add or even take some.
See if this works for you!
Hi Don, welcome! ![]()
That’s amazing, around 50 builds is seriously impressive. It’s wonderful that you found such a creative way to stay busy and relaxed, and even better that you’ve shared your builds with family and friends. Painting some and leaving others natural sounds like a great balance too.
Sorry to hear about the upload issues… that can definitely be frustrating. Hopefully you’ll be able to share your recent builds soon; we’d all love to see them. Thanks so much for sharing your story with the community!
Jeanne, thanks, it’ll work if I can figure out how to post. It appears I can’t go back and add to my original message. Just wanted to share a few of my builds is all.
Hi Yona, What problem are you having with your Ferris Wheel? If you can be specific, I may be able to help you.
actually you should be able to edit it. Go back to post and choose the pencil at the bottom. then you can go to anywhere within your post, click, and add as I said. are you using ipad or laptop?
Hi, my name is Graham from Chesterfield, England. I made my first ROKR kit, Dream Gift Factory in October 2025. It was so precise I decided I needed the challenge again, so for Christmas my wife bought me the set of four 3D marble run kits. They took some time to complete but now take pride of place on the mantlepiece, and run perfectly. My next model, which arrives today, is the Space Shuttle. I am hooked and look forward to reading everyone’s posts and tips.
Welcome JaG. You certainly have the bug. Don’t worry, you’re in good company.
Your builds look terrific.
Super welcome to the community! You’ve already made a few nice and demanding kits. Can’t wait to see how you handle the Space Shuttle! It’s on my wishlist main priorities.
