I am posting this to help those who are just starting the tree house. I admit I did not totally understand the instructions for placing the blossums! It took me a bit. Here is a quick video to show my progress and to show what I figured out regarding the blossums. I am hoping this small tidbit is helpful!
I also had some problems attaching the petals. Also the glue not sticking well was difficult.

I switched over to tacky glue over the stickers

Ok I always laugh when someone says I have an accent! I guess I do have a Chicago accent. I do not hear it and think I sound like people on TV. I think everyone else has accents and I wish I did. I would love, say, a British accent!

Hahaha well seeing as I’m Australian, you definitely have an accent to me 
I have some friends in the US and we love to compare different sayings and idioms that we have from our countries and I love listening to them talk on the phone so fun LOL
Oh that’s a good point with the branches I think it’s easy to overlook! At least for me! 
it took me a bit. I thought the white was part of the blossum design. There are little Y’s and * which you line up but it did not occur to me about branches.

I did the same! I ended up gluing the blossoms directly because they kept falling off, especially once I added the lights. Your video will be so helpful for others starting the kit, @jeanneL!
This is beautiful. Great progress. I was a little confused at the start as well. But slowly I got there.
