Looking forward to working on this! I think it is a beautiful kit. My intention is to give this as a gift but a little worried about shipping this so may end up remaining here!

Nanci is at the ready with the decorations, ready to add!
I started to build the ring last night. The directions are on a newspaper size piece of paper. I would tell everyone working on this, to watch and read carefully. It is easy to miss a sction when it is in this format. I do much better with a booklet veps a bunch of papers!

Yay! You started it!! :blush: I prefer booklet instructions too! The big pieces of paper take up too much room!

Looks so fun. Yea. Big sets like this can be hard to ship anywhere.

The rolife room builds are so much clearer. I had to take it apart because I had the wrong circle connection, I guess I had it upside down. Lucky discovered early on. The book always shows the part your building, lists all parts needed, and then clearly has directions.

I definitely prefer booklets too I don’t have that much space to spread the entire instruction manual out lol. :laughing:

a lot of people are working on this one right now. maybe wrap it in shrink foll to keep it together and put some soft stuff around it in a box before shipping, and glue everything in place.

The leaves are a little loose. I will need to glue for sure

It really is a beautiful kit! I totally get your concern about shipping, this might be one of those too pretty to let go builds :joy: Great tip about the instructions too!

This morning I went to add a piece of twine to hang easier and off came the snowflake. I guess I have more gluing to do!

Yep i think you will need to glue everything if you want to ship it.

I located the spot where the missing leaf went and reaffixed snowflake. All feels secure. currently hanging. I may keep LOL

@Liset this really was a nice kit. I did paint most of the edges, but it went together fairly easy. I did have to glue alot because my pieces felt a little wiggly. But it was nicely built. Very happy with it!

@Liset I did LOL. I do not know what is going on but I went from being caught up, to having 300 posts to read LOL so i am trying to go through and catch up too!
