Finished up the kit tonight (yay insomnia). I really enjoyed putting everything together until it got to putting the outer shell on. I had three different split. I did like that the outer shell screwed into place.
The ‘water’ feature is a nice touch. When the lights turn on and catches the ripple effect you can almost hear the water running.
I absolutely love the little book shop on the right.
All in all a very fun build.

That light really does hit the water and bring a real look to it! When you really look in to it, there is alot to it! I can see that being a nice challenge. I am sorry parts broke but glad you were able to salvage! It seems like that will happen at least once! I tend to break little parts but have felt nervous with some of the big pieces when it feels like your forcing! Thanks to a few here, I now stop and look to sand a pinch then retry. I can always add a little glue to help hold!
Yes, the rippled plastic piece for the water come with the kit.
