Building the Century post office was a profoundly empowering experience. The day before I built this, I had undergone surgery on my right arm, but whilst recovering, I persevered and managed to build this masterpiece with mostly my left hand. It was daunting to even grasp my tools, but I remained determined. Nevertheless, upon completing it, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and serenity.
In this photo, I’m holding it with my right hand, and it was a triumphant moment. Building this reminds me of how much I truly cherish this hobby and how it’s instrumental in my healing journey.
This holiday season as I continue with my recovery process, I look forward to spending this season of giving with my family and hopefully, be pain-free .
