In the comments of @Wenbare post we started talking about traditions. Some of the traditions in my family is always having a Pionsettia around the house around Christmas time, we always have a christmas tree and stockings.
What are your traditions around this time of year? What do you celebrate?
Does anyone plan on getting any of there family members a kit?

Traditionely we celebrate sinterklaas. He looks a lot like santa claus. But usually when the kids stop beleving in it we move to christmas. Usually we have a small tree and have dinner with the family

We celebrate on December 25th, we do lots of other Christmas things during december too. We set a tree up on december 1st, on the first friday of December we always go to our towns Christmas parade which has decorated floats from all of the local businesses. We have lots of food for lunch on christmas day and way too many desserts lol 
my family usually goes camping but i think we are staying home this year. The kids also all have a stocking.
Its always a lovely time to spend with family

That’s so lovely, thank you, @Emma_Samchek! Here in Spain we also celebrate the Reyes Magos, who bring gifts to children on January 6th. It’s such a magical tradition: the parades are beautiful, and everyone feels like a kid again!

I haven’t got kids so I’m relaxed
But we always have a barbecue on Christmas Day! Otherwise my family and I are quite chill with celebrations.

We try to stretch it over the month haha
Each of my kids had a stocking made for them by a family member. They are giant stockings haha i will have to try and remember to post a photo for you when we get the decorations out in a few weeks!
Thats where ‘santa’ leaves his gifts for the kids.

Right now, I’m busy preparing for Sinterklaas. He’ll arrive on Saturday with his “pieten” on his steamboat from Spain. The children can then put out their shoes, put a carrot in it for the horse Ozosnel, and sing a song. When they get up the next morning, there’s a good chance Sinterklaas has visited. He’ll walk across the rooftops with his horse and put pepernoten or a present in the shoe. On 5 december Sinterklaas celebrate his birthday and give all the children presents

We traditionally have a Christmas tree (a fake one hehehe) and hang out our stockings. We decorate cookies and leave some by the tree for Santa. My kids also leave carrot sticks for the reindeers.
I have wrapped up lots of Rowood flowers and construction vehicles for my nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Speaking of Christmas, it reminds me of last year. My friends and I made a little Christmas tree ornament using coffee beans and glue, and it was so much fun.

We usually get together on 25/12. We usually put our gifts under xmas tree. This year might just be a small one for me as most family members will be away overseas. I was still debating whether I should put up my xmas tree or not. I was thinking just to decorate with robotime kits and decorate my fireplace.
