Catching up with some much-needed alone time in the work room :sparkles:

With Christmas almost here and all the hustle and bustle, it’s been really nice to slow down and work on some simpler builds. I truly enjoy the quick-drying power of acrylic pens, such a game changer!

Here’s the Purple Moth Orchid :cherry_blossom: I mixed and matched a few shades, and I’m really happy with how it’s turning out so far. I’ll finish the bottom part tomorrow!

Do you prefer simple builds during busy seasons, or do you still tackle the more intricate ones?

Do you usually finish a build in one go, or spread it out over a few days like this?

The problem with me is once I start a kit I must finish it before I move on to the next one. So if I start a super complicated one and I get tired of it, I sometimes go weeks before even building anything. The season does not matter. :laughing:

But seeing how people alternate their builds here, it might not be a bad idea after all. I’m a slow builder. :pink_heart:

I usually build one at a time… but with limited time lately, im enjoying some in-between builds :stuck_out_tongue:

I usually like doing easier builds after work, though with all the Christmas builds, I kind of got a little burnt out with the easier ones! The old kit I’m working on now is definitely welcome!

I love this purple moth. As an orchid collector I have my eyes for orchid flowers at all time.

the color seems the same as the flower itself, beautifully made!

I usually make a longer-lasting construction and then a smaller one…the Christmas melody tree seems to be endless. I put the cuckoo clock on hold for a while to make the Christmas tree before Christmas, but unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it in time. I probably won’t have time to work on it again until Saturday.
