The cats told him there’s a pond that definitely lets you catch a fish. So the man decided to try it out. He saw lots of cats there and a lone hippo. He didn’t know hippo eats fish. The hippo said the pond is magic and tailored to everyone’s special dietary preferences. Hippo catches vegan fish. The man was amazed and fished. Wow. His fish matches his boat!

Your story reminds me of the old Peter Rabbit illustrations: These are burned into my brain from childhood. Especially the frog. Why is a frog such a distinguished gentleman? I don’t know but I am here for it.
Hippopotamus’s are actually pretty dangerous animals. You would never want to get in the water with one.

But I do like the Hippo in the story! My sister is a big hippo fan. I think I read somewhere that several people each year die from Hippo attacks. Scary!
