Stains are very easy to do…especially for something of that nature. You can even paint over stain for tiny details…as long as the stain has dried. @Kit_Mun_Ngow

Ohhh I’ll be looking forward to your journey for this one because I know it’s going to look great.

Sorry, I can’t help you with your question on painting. Maybe @Nita_Davis has ideas

Are the wooden parts shiny?? is that why you need to sand them before re-painting them?? or does sanding help the paint grip onto the parts better?

Well noted  Will try on it next time, thanks for your info @Nita_Davis :two_hearts:

You did a great job! I hope I can get all the materials painted. I want to give it some brighter colors.

This Carousal is such a cute kit. U will eventually have the collections of all the amusement rides. It would be so pretty.

What a lovely choice, your daughter has great taste!
Repainting it to match the swing ride sounds like an amazing idea. I’m sure it’ll turn out gorgeous, and I’m very curious to see how you approach the plastic sheet.

Thank you @Wenbare :hugs: I thought it was plastic, but it was actually paper with some kind of coating. Luckily, it was symmetrical, and I could paint the back side
