📖 [Rolife Journey] Nov. Mystery Prize - My Plain Plane ✈️

I think this plane would look better painted, but when I try to do creative things I feel like half the time I do more harm then good :joy: so I’ll just stick with my plain plane.

This model was very easy to build thought I did end up snapping more pieces then I thought I would. I knew I had to be gentle with the very thin pieces but when I was putting them together I guess I used too much pressure. Thankfully superglue works wonders and you can’t really tell except for from the front.

I feel like it’s obvious here that I snapped a piece since it’s at a bit of an angle  I will display the plane from the side like in the pictures above

Just say it’s a plane in action doing a swerve  great job finding a fix. It still looks beautiful

It looks great just the way it is! Plain or painted, it’s a fun build, and you handled those fixes like a pro!

I always said if I got this one I would paint like the red baron! and now I see the iron cross on the side so it is already set for that!
My dad used to build planes using balsa and then he would cover with this tissue. After it was all in place, he would paint. Here are some of those. the red baron is on the bottom.

Love it.

Just pain it. There are not rules about that so anything you do will be perfect.

Thanks for reading!! I kept his planes until they broke. I still have one left! its not in this picture but its nose looks like a tiger or something! Very cool

Aww I think you did a great job because I can’t tell if anything was broken in the first place lol. Also think it actually looks natural for the plane to be at slight angle.

I’m with you when it comes to painting hahaha I’m too much of a perfectionist so I don’t attempt to paint everything. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Great job with this plane and be able to fix the part.

Will you start building planes as well?

Yes it’s definitely a perfectionist thing as well  and I’m bad at choosing which colours to use
