How’s everyone lately? I’ve been very busy with life especially my physical therapy and setting up my hobby room. I make time to build my minis because it keeps me sane.

So far so good with Leisure Time Tea Room. Lots of sanding especially on the facade with the big sign and windows. Some wooden tabs on the facade don’t fit so I had to heavily sand on those areas.

The resin glue helped with warped pieces like the top of the window frame. Everything else was seamless.

That’s it for now. My recovering arm could use a break but I’m loving the process.

Haha thanks Jerry. It’s sloowly coming along. I need more storage cabinets for my builds. I gave many away so these are the ones left. @Jerry_Boswijk

It is coming along nicely there @mchipman . I would love to have a crafting room. but now I am building in every setting of the house. kitchen tablet, dining table, bed, couch, office. but it having a room designated for it would be lovely.

It made a lot of difference having a little privacy, more natural light and quiet. We have a teenager in the house so yeah this is definitely what I need right now lol

the perfect corner for building. A lot of my friends with kids, they always liked to have some time alone to themselves all the time. Being mum is a lot of hard work.

Looking good @mchipman I’m curious about your resin glue. How do you apply them on warped pieces?

I’ve always wanted to get this one but I just wasn’t so sure about the blue. Your posts might help change my mind haha! :blue_heart:

I kinda find the blue colour quite attractive. This is a beautiful kit to have.

I just dab and small amount of Resin UV glue then light with UV light for about 20-30 secs. Works best for really stubborn areas. I’ve used super glue in the past. Resin is just much better.
