Most of my close buds on here know I am not a fan of the older versions. Mostly because I am a bit older (67)and not as coordinated or as good vision.
Well this cute, should be a quick build, mini, has proven to be a challenge!
This is definitely an older version which means gluing furniture from nothing and making your own flowers, stems, etc. I had no clue.
Good news is that as I have gained more experience from Cathy’s flower house, so can deal with it a little better. But it is certainly a slower build than expected.
This is what I have completed in about 5-6 hours:
The little yellow sack I ended up sewing with machine. and that worked. But things are slow moving. Some of you may argue, Yay I can enjoy the build! Others may be more like me and lets get goin here!
Either wayI am making progress, slow but progress!
I think what you have done looks beautiful so far! It may be taking you longer than planned, but at least it’s still a smaller build! I’m really excited to see it when you’re finished!
I am taking small steps since it is old version. Sometimes feels frustrating but a lot less frustrating than before. Its not that I love plastic flowers, but they look alot better than what I am trying to make!
Oh yes. These corner builds can pack a punch. I like them because they are detailed but not an extremely huge project like Sam’s Study or Kathie’s Flower house.
Thanks Wendy! I did not give up and slowly kept at it. Came close a few times, but walked away and came back to it with a fresh mind and positive attitude!
