So I have already built this post office once, but I gave it away as a door prize at a presentation ai did for an assisted living facility. If you have never thought of doing a presentation at a place like that, just let me say that they were really interested in them and enjoyed the presentation. One lady even commissioned me to make a book nook for her! It was so fun and it brought them some joy.
Anyway, I decided to build it again for myself, but I didn’t really like the wood colors. I chose various colors to mix it up a little because I’ve never been in a post office that didn’t have mismatched shelves and tables! lol I might even paint the mailbox, because around here, they’re blue, not red.

Sometimes I have to build the same miniature kit for a second time. When that happens, I definitely personalize it and I really enjoy doing that.
I do it so I don’t get bored while building. I once shared a post about this topic, and I’m adding the link below.

What a fun way to do a presentation at the assisted living place. I eventually wanted to do some volunteering and this is a great idea. We have a lot of retirement communities here in Tahoe.

Many older people enjoy the idea of miniatures.
I have plans to make a miniature for my ‘buddy’ at work. Part of our aged care facility’s goals is to build relationships with our residents, so we all have a buddy. I love spending time with Mrs C (that’s what I call her) and have plans of gifting her a build in the near future.

You should consider doing a presentation of all your miniatures there. They would love it!
