Hey everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great friday! Today i got done about 3 more hours on the cat house, getting a few more pieces done! It took me a while because i ended up changing the Cat Sofa (Youll see in the photos) Anyways, i hope yall enjoy the update and tips i made for yall!
Page 08 Cat Sofa: I ended up upgrading the cat sofa! I sewed a miniature bed and put a small blanket around the bed. I sewed 2 small circles together and put fluff in between to make a cushion. After that I took a strip of the fabric folded it in half and sewed the bottom, I then sewed it in circle. When sewing them together, pinch the cushion seam and the bottom seam of the circle for a more seamless look and to cover any unwanted threads at the end, I took the circle and folded it in half after sewing it, to make a outer cushion. Lastly, I soaked some fabric in glue and position that fabric like its a crinkly blanket. I put all the pieces together to get the desired look. I think it looks more like a cat sofa lol!
Those beds look so cozy your cat house pieces are looking great.
With Halloween coming, I have not started on any big build because I am painting something for the trick or treat event in our village. So I am only working on flower puzzles for now.
I love how your Cat House is turning out — that little sofa upgrade is adorable! I actually saw this kit once in a store and didn’t buy it, and now I totally regret it. It looks even better than I imagined!
At first, I looked at the photos and was like, ‘WHAT??? There are kits where you actually have to sew??? ’ but then I read and understood hahaha. It turned out fabulous and looks super high-quality! It honestly looks like something they could sell just like that
