You guys! We were at an appointment today at phoenix childrens hospital and decided to check out the gift shop before we left. This table was set up and they had a shelf filled over by the window! I aksed the lady about them and she said a cancer survivor brought some in during christmas and other families requested them when their kids recieved them because they were so fun and passed the time! My son was beaming! He didn’t tell her it was him but he was definitely fist punching the air in excitement when we left
It’s amazing how something as simple as a Rolife kit can bring so much joy and excitement, especially for kids going through tough times. That’s such a great idea! My daughter is a NICU nurse in a well known children’s hospital. I wish I could give this idea to that hospital’s gift shop. Some parents and kids spend months or years there, what a great way to pass the time and build some self confidence!
