Today my boyfriend did his first build with me! I asked Kalvin what build he’d do and he said he’d do the Ocean Fisher Gravity Swing, and so i went to the store and bought it. He ended up loving the results and said he’d definitely do another! A gun or the race car next for him I ended up doing the Wooden Flower Basket, I was still building flowers when he finished lol! He ended up helping me with my build after he was done his, I couldnt have asked for a better date. This is a memory for my scrapbook! That sounds like such a lovely experience! I really like both kits, but that flower basket is one of my absolute favorites — it’s such a beautiful and satisfying build. What a perfect way to spend time together!
So nice to read you’re doing this together, what an experience that may be! I did suggest that to my girlfriend but she always claims not to have the patience for it. She prefers to participate it in the “let’s choose the next DIY decoration for our place” process and then I’ll be crafting while she’ll be watching something or scrolling some Tiktok
What a sweet moment! It sounds like you both had such a wonderful time together. Doing what you love with someone you love is truly one of life’s greatest joys. I hope he continues to grow more interested in model building, and that you two will have many more happy hours creating together.

It is lovely that you guys build together. I would love to do that with my partner but he is just too busy for this. I’m sure you both had the best experience.
My boyfriend said the same thing until he found a build he liked a lot, i tolf him i wouldnt build it so if he wanted to then he’s have to attempt it (i wouldve built it if he realllllllly didnt wanna build it). Im glad he had fun though, he was loosing a bit of patience at the end but once it was done, he was super happy and felt proud of himself. Still does everytime he sees what he built
Well, what can I tell you? Now my girlfriend wants us to try and build the Carousel together! So I’ll let you know how that works out, but I’m pretty excited about the couple experience
