👍 [Rolife DIY & Creativity] The Perfect In-Between Build - Ferris Wheel

Been trying to hold off my next miniature project but as always, i couldn’t help myswlf and let the wheel help me decide which one to do.

Prayers answered, it picked a simple kit for me. Just the right amount of ‘work’ for my busy week. Perfect fit for my schedule.

I’ve also added new, recently acquired kits to my trusty wheel, including one non-rolife kit.

As it was a simpler kit, i decided to paint the ferris wheel with leftover paint i found.

The carousel in the background was my daughter’s. Should I ask her if I could paint it as well to match my ferris wheel? Or should i just leave it to preserve the memory that she wanted to try my hobby?

I just ordered this Ferris wheel set and am waiting for delivery. Mine is the moving set and I plan to do a lot of modifications. I’m so glad you finished and are getting ready for the next model. So happy

Can’t wait to see your modifications @ThaoNguyen. I’m trying to think of a signature ‘thing’ that i can do to make each kit i build from now on uniquely mine.

This is a great build. Live the colours. I also like your idea of a wheel

You did a great job on your ferris wheel @Gidge The colors suit the build.

Will you be spinning the wheel again?

I love your painted version, they’re really cheerful colours! :yellow_heart: :blue_heart:

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to paint the carousel but it’s up to your daughter.

That sounds like the perfect choice for a busy week :yellow_heart:
Painting the ferris wheel with leftover paint is such a creative touch and it turned out lovely~ Your daughter’s carousel is especially meaningful, maybe asking her and making it a little project together could be a beautiful memory too :sparkles:

Such a lovely idea using the wheel to choose your next build :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: This one really was the perfect in-between kit, and the paint gives it so much character!
As for the carousel… I’d personally keep it just as it is. That little touch of your daughter joining your hobby is a memory worth preserving.

It turned out beautiful :star_struck: This seems like a perfect build during a busy week. I’d leave your daughter’s carousel as it is, as it seems difficult to paint it once it’s already built.
