I loved Sakura Dreamy Tour, and I had an entire envelope full of iridescent sakura glitter left over…so Sakura Tree House seemed the next obvious project!
I decided to make a treehouse fit for a teddy bear (Parker the Bear) including guest appearances in the windows. When my printed vellum Parkers did not show up very well, it seemed clear that I needed to use some leftover lights from other projects!
The battery pack isn’t neatly and elegantly concealed as is usual with Rolife, but I love the effect of the little houses lit up. In fact, I wish I had lit up the little side house with the garden tools, as well!
This is a fun build, and even if you don’t paint, bedazzle or electrify, you will still end up with a sparkling and beautiful treehouse! A great kit, yet again!
The contrast of the glitter and the lights gives this a fairy tale appearance. Your build is so pretty. I’m sure that Parker is going to love his treehouse.
It’s a very low-tech solution of hiding it behind the tree! I could see hiding it in the trunk at some point, or raising the base slightly so it would fit…all beyond my skills!
