I could never get the whole shipping label on and they would, for sure, crush it beyond recognition.
I do like to imagine them gently placing the tiny package on top of the pile. And I imagine them playing jokes like asking for two strong loaders to come and pick up this heavy parcel. (I’ve seen that joke in real life.) so funny.
But actually they are probably too busy to play my tiny package game. They are already so stressed I certainly don’t want to make the good people at the post office more stressed.
It has been fun experimenting with characters. I think they are both aspirational for me. Especially Hello Kitty. She is very industrious and confident and she helps her friends.
I think mine would be unique because all the details are hand made. I think people would like it because of the “Unpacking” video game is popular and a lot of people (including me) find it very satisfying to watch.
I could do other types of videos too if I ever got together the right set up for me. Something that can give me a steady shot of my crafting table. I don’t want to be a personality(that always brings mixed reviews lol). I just want to do time lapse and maybe one day, building livestreams.
I don’t feel comfortable linking Ali Express directly. But you should be able to find them if you search “miniature boxes” or “miniature shipping boxes” on Ali Express or whatever online shopping platform you use.
Make sure you check the count. The first time I ordered them I accidentally ordered a single box. The photo showed multiple boxes. You have to assume they mean a singular box unless they specifically say the amount.
And you will definitely want more than one.
Packing peanuts would be adorable. I could also wrap things I paper. There is a lot of possibility for more realism and I love that.
The garage has gotten a ton of use. I never really intended it to be such a focal point. I have other miniature spaces I could use. It’s just how things have worked out.
One thing that is unique about the garage is all the furniture and drawers actually open. It is rare for miniatures kits to have functional furniture. That makes the garage particularly ideal to use as a miniature staging area. And it’s a fun coincidence that people actually use garages for storage.
I’ve always liked the Sanrio designs and stationary. I never actually watched the cartoon. Hello Kitty is a cute character. I probably like Kuromi, Chococat, Cinnamonroll. Mostly based on the way they look.
Really, in my mind, my Hello Kitty doll is its own character being played by a Hello Kitty doll. If that makes any sense.
Hahaha yeah it’s fair enough but it’s definitely fun imagining this tiny parcel making its way around the world. That’s why we have cartoons to make this happen. It would’ve been so cute!
I think a phone stand is where you should start?? or a light ring?? if your crafting setup is not in an area facing direct sunlight?? but yess we should start small, for me I’ve done unboxing videos but didn’t have the courage to post them yet!!
Yes definitely! It’s a long term aspiration for me. I’m so glacially slow at doing anything.
I think you should post your videos. Sometimes it’s better to create something imperfect than to not create anything. Everyone starts out a beginner. You know?
I’ve watched the Kuromi and Melody series and the Gudetama also on Netflix. You should try to watch them. I enjoyed watching them even though I’m already grown up.
Oh you like stationary? Are you into journaling? I love Kuromi, My Melody and Pompompurin because they all love sweet treats.
