This is going along very well. I got walls, windows, and door all done. I was able to build most of the details and small objects like candy and boxes. I need to save some tgings for my Grandson as I promised he could help and he is just 4.
I have minimal to no issues. Directions are all clear and easy to follow. I could easily finish tonight but will wait.
Really cute thus far.
One more thing, some kits give you a wooden tool you can use for inserting other wood pieces or pegs and metal drawer knobs. This kit did not have one but lucky I kept from another kit. They are very helpful. This is how it looks when using for drawer knobs.
Oh this is just adorable @jeanneL, you’ve done a beautiful job. I can’t wait to do this one day (I’m trying to do the ones I have before buying another, we’ll see if it works ![]()

Thank for sharing. Tool is useful. It helps keep your hands from hurting.
It’s looking great! So awesome of you to save some steps for the little. That’s a great tip, BTW!
Aahhh I’m dying with all this little food ![]()

It sounds like everything is coming together so nicely! The fact that you’re saving some parts for your grandson is absolutely adorable — he’s going to love helping you. It’s great to hear the build is going smoothly and the instructions are clear. Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished!
That’s a good tip @jeanneL! I have this tool from other kits too, because I find it very useful ![]()
You did an amazing job
i love the little cookies and boxes. I also always keep all the tools and have been able to use them for other builds.
No kidding! My fingers were killing me pushing in all the little parts on the gingerbread house porches! and then I remembered the tools!
That progress there @jeanneL . I tend to use this tool as well.
This tool looks helpful indeed. It’s so hard to hold onto those tiny screws.
The pieces are looking beautiful
you’re almost done. Does this build have lights? Just curious
