Once I got it all together I could see that I could have waited. But you dont always know that and honestly I do not usually look ahead that much
Step by step and see how it goes. I’m sure whatever you choose in the end would be great.

I’ll start doing this next time I find gears or areas rubbing together thank you!!
You’re welcome.
I usually paint before I build but that’s a good tip if I ever get to this kit - to paint after I build.
It’s good to know that the pieces are fragile too.
I am starting the fairyland tree house and will paint after built. Going much better
@jeanneL Great Job, Jeanne!
I had the same problems too! I am glad you got it sorted! The power of glue saves my builds !!! ahahah
Oof, that sounds like a real challenge, @jeanneL! ![]()
But you pushed through it, learned from it, and it’s looking great!!!
Thanks @Nita_Davis I wanted it to look more natural.
I just kept plugging away! I was on a mission.
As Tricia said, smooths and gets rid of rough edges, but can also help a tab to slip into place, that way you are not forcing and breaking. In my case, I painted in advance which made the board swell a bit. That then makes the tab a little bigger and will crack or split.
I think so too!
Thank you!
I was surprised. I was pushing lightly and then it just splintered apart
I admit it is nice to not be alone on that! But we got through!
