Today I started on the back of the build, and while painting, I came across many small details I hadn’t noticed before. I made the small decoration on the door a bit darker with some small silver dots (I think these are supposed to represent nails, which is why I made them silver). I had to think about the color of the lamps for a while. Ultimately, I decided to make them gold, and I think it looks good. I think I’ll also add some gold to the part where the clock will be. It’s starting to take shape.

I won’t be online much tomorrow, as my phone screen has shattered into a thousand pieces. It will be fixed tomorrow, and I’ll be able to read all the new posts properly again. :grin:

Thank you @Tricia12 :hugs: The painting takes a lot of extra time, because I’m quite a perfectionist, but it’s definitely worth it :smiling_face:

Haha Thank you @Nita_Davis :hugs: It’a really sucks about my phone, but luckily it can be fixed. I think I’ve had about 80 shards of glass in my finger in the past few days :sweat_smile:

I know this is a cuckoo clock, but I’m starting to feel and imagine Rapunzel’s tower because of the door and the way the walls are constructed :heart_eyes:

It has an Alice in Wonderland theme, so I get what you mean. It has something of a fairy tale feel.
