Sometimes, I can’t adjust the colors if I want a lighter shade but mistakenly painted it darker, like that moment. 
But if it’s a darker shade, it can be adjusted for me. Yes, the grey part really fits the floor.

That’s right. You should sand it. First paint it white and then use the color you want.

Does the paint will stick more if I sand it first before painting the wood? I never knew that.

I don’t know, I never sand it, but it was in response to when you first do a dark color and then want to lighten it again
