This build involves a lot of painting, but it’s really coming together now. The back is also finished. I wasn’t quite sure how to get the light string, but after some fiddling, I managed to get the last bulb right.

I also try to paint as evenly as possible without too many brush strokes. It takes a lot of time to paint neatly, but I think it’s totally worth it when I look at the end result

I have to share this too… I was actually going to bed, but I heard the Northern Lights were visible, so I went outside and saw them for the first time in my life. They were really cool!

OMG.. how lucky, I would love to see one but never got a chance. that is so special that you could see it from where you are.

It doesn’t happen very often here either, so I was really lucky to see it properly once.
My friends were able to capture a few when it appears in Victoria but I never got the chance to.
Who knows, maybe you’ll see it someday too

They have nothing to go into that little square box. This is where I added my mushrooms…LOL! I’ve seen others add a bottle that says “drink me”. Some have added small playing cards.
