The Ferris wheel part is finished. The connection to the base is also secure. All that’s left is to paint the cabins, still alternating white and red. I’ll paint the base too, but since it’s hidden, I’ll probably just use a lighter color, saving the vibrant colors for the Ferris wheel.
And I also have two ideas:
- I’ll add some glitter to the Ferris wheel, hopefully it won’t get in the way when it moves.
- I’ll install lights to make it sparkle at night. However, this is a bit difficult because the Ferris wheel moves in a circle; using wired lights would be too complicated. So I’ll use motion-activated LEDs and a wireless power supply.
I’ve already ordered them and am waiting for them to arrive so I can start working on it. I’m excited to turn my ideas into reality.

Ohhhh…This sounds exciting! I would definitely be careful with the glitter. Maybe use a glitter nail polish to only get it exactly where you want it to be?
I plan to attach some crystals; I’ve seen my sister put them on her nails.
The idea sounds great.
I hope that you’ll receive your orders soon and I’m excited to see the result when you put the lights on the ferris wheel.
Thanks. This will probably be a bulky model kit since the motor runs on batteries and the generator for the light bulb uses a Type-C power source.
Alternating white and red cabins would be pretty cool!
I’m also excited to see it sparkle! I hope you get the lights to work!
I like the colour. really nice and even
that would be interesting. some crystals to add bling bling to the build. sound perfect.
Thank you. I also hope everything goes as planned.

Great idea. Glitter it is.

That is probably the best option for lighting. A battery pack would probably mess with the balance.
