📖 [Rokr Journey] TGN01 - Ferris Wheel #1

I received this model today. I chose it because I was missing this type of Ferris wheel in the amusement park rides.

The first thing I did was replace the automatic rotating motor. It took me almost an hour to do that. Actually, there’s no need to change it if you don’t care about the music being played. I wanted the music to be like the original, so I had to put in a little extra effort.

Next, I’ll choose the colors for the wooden pieces. I’ve seen red and white designs before and I really like them. I’ll probably try to copy that.

Oh wow! I’ve never done anything like that. It will be nice when done!

How were you able to change the motor? Did you build it from scratch? I am amazed and intrigued at the same time. I look forward to your ferris wheel.

So cool of what you did on the music! :open_mouth:

I know you can order little music boxes because we had them in ceramics. so I think it would be the same here.

Thank you

I buy automatic motor. The original audio signal is processed through the new motor.

Yes that’right. The important thing is to find and buy the right type of music box, otherwise it won’t spin as intended.

I think this would be nice. Haven’t seen anyone doing Ferris wheel yet. Enjoy building.

Wow that is so cool! :star_struck:

I can’t wait to see it completed with the new motor! Also excited to see what colours you’ll paint this with!

You’re welcome. :pink_heart:

Great choice! This Ferris wheel fits perfectly with the amusement park theme!
That motor swap sounds a bit tricky, but I love that you went the extra mile to keep the original music, totally worth it.

Thank you

What a great idea to change the engine. I’m really curious about the final result.

It will probably take a few more days to finish. Painting them takes quite a long time.

Painting makes a building take ten times longer  enjoy!

That’s right. You can’t rush it. You have to wait for it to dry before painting again to get the desired color.

Just wondering where do you get the automated motor?
