Hopefully i got some time tonight to start my new project, the cuckoo clock.
It’s the bare wood version, and I’m still not sure how to paint it. If you have any good ideas, let me know :smiling_face:

This is such an exciting project to start, @Liset! I’m waiting for mine to arrive, but I choose the painted one :see_no_evil_monkey:. The bare wood version gives you so much room to play! Can’t wait to see what you come up with, and I’m cheering you on as you begin!

you probably don’t have to paint the whole thing Van Gogh, just pick some of the more prominent pieces, and then just paint everything else in colours that kind of match or look good with the Van Gogh parts. After seeing your piano and starry night piece, I think you should just paint everything like that! :heart::rofl:

Haha, I still don’t know how to paint those either. I got several pearlescent acrylic paints from Sinterklaas. Who knows, maybe I can use them for the Gearball challenge! :wink:

Thanks for your idea @SunnyCee :hugs: i don’t want a Christmas theme because i want to place it in my living room and don’t want to look at a Christmas build in summer :wink:

haha I thought it would be difficult to paint the edges in the right colors, but I think I made it even harder for myself by choosing an unpainted model :sweat_smile:

ohhh I like the Van Gogh suggestion.
You can do it in the deep jewel tones of purples, blues, and greens maybe. I did see other post and liked the foresty look
