I think that I may be just in a bit of a slump here. I started this one thinking that my harp was going to show up but it still hasn’t so I am just piddling away with it. I think this is going to be my worst painted one of all time. While trying to match the off-white color, I put in a tiny bit too much green and then couldn’t correct it so I’m not very happy about that. I am so bummed with it that I really just want to put it to the side and do a bit of work on my Bridal Book Nook.. Maybe? I don’t know. Maybe I just need to turn on my TV once in awhile.. LOL! This too shall pass.

It does still look nice though. Maybe you just need to go out and breath or maybe watch a good TV series or movie. Sometimes stepping away does the trick.

I think the white looks fine! Sometimes it’s good to take a break, or just do something else for a bit! I took a couple weekends off there, where I gamed or read instead of building and now I’m back building more than ever!
This is developing so well! The attention and care you’re giving this project really shows — great stuff! I certainly can’t tell from the pictures that the color is different.

Sometimes walking away is the best thing for us. Mine finally arrived today so hopefully yours is not too far off now.

Oh no! I’m so sad to read that. Maybe you can ask for a replacement of the part you’ve painted and didn’t like?
It looks quite nice to me. If you want to change the colour, you may want to consider metallic colours. They have great coverage.

The accidental green off-white is a classic builder’s tragedy! 
Honestly, sometimes the best thing you can do for a kit you aren’t feeling is to give it a “time out” on the shelf. If the Bridal Book Nook is calling your name, go for it! I’m currently staring at my empty desk waiting for a late March delivery, so at least you have options to keep your hands busy! 
The good news is we do not know what you messed up. But sometimes we do need a break! Do not be hard on yourself!
