Hello, according to the manual, “removing the T3 switch” means only taking the T3 switch out of the auxiliary tool, not pulling it out from the circuit board. The reason why the light board did not turn on is that the final step of Test Step 1 has not yet been carried out.
From your description, it seems you have reached the second part of Test Step 1: the light stays on, Motor 1 runs briefly, and Motor 2 runs continuously. When you proceed to Step 4, remove the T3 switch and then insert it back, Motor 1 will continue running and Motor 2 will stop. In the final step, remove the T2 switch and quickly insert it back — the light board will then flash, and the light string will stay on.
Please note: the motor with the yellow and white wires is Motor 1, and the one with the blue and red wires is Motor 2.
Thank you so much for your reply. I had somebody send me a YouTube video and I performed the tests again. Lampboard does not light up. I ordered my part yesterday and received confirmation this morning. Again, THANK YOU. @CustomerService
Thank you @Jill_Francisco After testing numerous times, I cannot get the lampboard to come on. They are sending a new part. I just love their customer service.
I finally did…after testing at LEAST 20 times. I had even asked for a replacement part yesterday. This morning, I said to myself…let’s try this ONE more time…Took THREE more tries, but finally worked, so now I am back to building @Wenbare
After testing at least 20 times on Saturday, I finally asked for a new Lampboard. On Sunday I tested 3 more times…and on the third one, it finally lit up. @Jerry_Boswijk
Most important part is the stage 2 testing. After that you can test as much as you want during the build of the tower. Most important dont forget to put part c14 in the spot where the spaceshuttle is going to be during stage 2 testing else you wouldn’t be able to complete the test succesfull
Thanks @Jerry_Boswijk …Funny thing is…I’ve seen others talk about this part in different groups…and before I was even “awake” this morning, C14 popped into my head from previous posts…LOL!
