Going ok thus far. I have about 10 pages to go but my eyes were tired. I have been working on it for about 6 hours..
I had a couple of breaks. One was on top of the Christmas tree tower where ther are little fence like things. I crushed a peg. I found an extra 5mm screw I was able to sub. On the fireplace, I cracked the piece the flames sit on. Could not fix so just made my own style. @Martins_Assembly_H video saved me again. When winding lights he reassured me that what I did was ok! The instructions just didnt make sense!
Oh. Yeah… Now that you mention it, I remember that specific process of small parts for the little room and the string of lights twisted through them… I kind of found the proper way but it still was tricky and a bit confusing to follow. I’m glad you’ve made it through! You’re almost there. Imo, that was the hardest part regarding the strings of lights.
That’s absolutely awesome
It looks to work really smoothly and the lighting is great
You’re so close, if you’re tired just take a break and finish it off later.
I’m jelly that you can work on kits for 6 hrs. since I only have limited of time. Great progress so far and it’s nice that you’ve used your creativity to resolve the fireplace.
It is looking amazing @jeanneL. We are so lucky to have @Martins_Assembly_H doing videos for us. Sometimes we just need someone who can explain the pictures in the instructions.
