📖 [ROKR Journey] Dream Coffee Factory #5

Next is the partition between the first and second floors. This part is also quite complex because it has parts connected to the moving parts below. And I had a bit of a problem; I assembled the coffee pump nozzle upside down. Luckily, I checked again and didn’t press too hard, so disassembling and redoing it didn’t cause any problems.

When working on this part, don’t forget the black belt. I almost got it stuck because I was busy with other details.

Still dealing with gears, pay attention to where the lever is attached because you can easily attach it incorrectly. We will attach it, always ensuring the gears mesh together.

Next is the rather difficult part: connecting them to the motor below via the belt. Any misalignment will affect everything. After assembly, I recommend checking if everything is working properly so you can make adjustments. Because after that, there will be parts that cover the drive mechanisms. If they don’t work, you will have to disassemble a lot of things.

So, the animation part is done. Tomorrow I’ll continue with wiring the lights.

Sounds complicated. Good thing you were able to fix the issues early on. Thank you for your tips, this will surely come handy in the future.

You’re welcome.

I’m always learning from you. It’s great that you’ve resolved the issues quick. So amazing as always since I don’t have a confidence to build complicated kits for now.

This is looking very nice…but that misspelling on the COFFEE sign would lead me to NOT purchase this model.

Oh my! I didn’t notice this on first look. I hope Robotime will fix the typo.

I noticed that in a previous post too. But it looks like a paper cut out so I hope they can easily remedy this.

Beautiful work @ThaoNguyen! It does seem complicated so I’m sure your tips will be super helpful! I didn’t realise it’s so pink! :pink_heart:

These are great tips! Good job on the progress.. I can only imagine how finicky this feels. It feels harder than the Dream Gift Factory :stuck_out_tongue:

looks like a difficult part to put together with the lights cable running trough it and several tabs going in and parts sticking trough it.

Wow, this part really is one of the trickiest! You handled it perfectly though. Great catch fixing the nozzle in time. Thanks for sharing all these tips, they’re going to be super helpful for anyone building this kit!

Yes, I think I will start on bouquet Rokr kits first since I think that will be easier.
