ROKR Gramaphone final pics

Oh it looks gorgeous! I love the combo green-gold, makes it looks very classy vintage!

I got the gramophone too, and I didn’t see in the thread if you did got it to work or not, so if you haven’t yet: do you want me to film a sort of tutorial video on how to make it work? It might be easier to see than read the steps?

Now this looks interesting x

I did not get it to work. I know exactly where I made my mistake and it was very early on in the building process where I misunderstood the directions about the size of the silicone ring to use. This is why it won’t work. There is one step where you are turning these gears and forcing the piece downwards that I don’t think could ever be reversed. I would never pull this whole kit back apart to even try to do it. I am happy with the way it looks and don’t mind at all that it is inoperable. Thanks, though @Felain edit…here is the explanation @aga2713

Omg Nita!!! You just made plain wood into an antique! Marvelous job!

Im happy that people here can help you with working on issue details. This is what I love about this community. Tell me is it working now?

Sorry, I can only watch, but what a piece to admire! Really stunning :star_struck:

Thanks dear!! Is it glue or fragile that much that re-making it would destroy it? Looks stunning but would be great if you could use it also

I don’t think that one step CAN be reversed and yes…there are many fragile pieces that I won’t risk tearing apart. No glue involved…but it’s not worth it for me. @aga2713

Thanks so much @Kim_Kieffer . I already know the issue…but I won’t be breaking it down to bare bones to fix it. I am very happy with it as is.

Thank you very much @TinkerTime
