The first wall I painted turned out really ugly with lots of stains. I then tried using a roller, and it got even uglier, probably because the paint wasn’t completely dry. I eventually removed all the paint with a baby wipe (fortunately, the wood didn’t get too wet) and repainted it with just a brush

That’s okay. I’m sometimes like that too. It’s so hard to decide for me what to do next or what color should I use so I can relate to you. 
I think I’ve seen the latest update and it turns out well for me.
