NOW, I am soooo understanding the part where you said “WHY am I painting this?” There are so many layers to this one that I have now started to layer my pieces BEFORE painting…LOL! (What will show…what won’t show) I am so happy to be able to come back and stare at yours for a bit. I hope it’s all going well and I look forward to seeing it upon completion. Hats off to you for your dedication on this one.

Ok…I have a question for you. It appears that one of those clear acrylic tong looking pieces inside where all of the gears are…is pulling my longest string to far so that it somewhat ‘catches’ when it hits the top of the carousel piece that the whole upper piece is attached to. I noticed on one ROKR post that someone’s strings were not moving, so I just wondered it they have had the same problem and removed them. Are yours working okay…if you have reached that point yet?

@Nita_Davis , you need to adjust the position. Check the manual step 3, just the last 2 steps before step 4.

Ahhh @Nita_Davis I think it has been the greatest frustration I have had putting these projects together. Everything works perfectly but the moment I place the main column of the harp and the gears need to fit with those of the arc, nothing moves. I have disassembled the harp three times, piece by piece. While disassembling, some of the paint got damaged and in a burst of desperation I changed some colors
