The entries for 3d art have to have a “western theme”. I took the horses (already painted with purple/ lavender/yellow) from a “princess” type carriage I built long ago. I gave it new colors to match my ROKR stagecoach. This is for my county fair coming up soon. Do any of you enter yours into county exhibits?

Love this! especially the one like Cinderella! I dont really have the ability to enter anywhere. Nor am I good enough yet! I follow instructions pretty well but not so creative as to venture out with ideas!

This is so clever! I love it! I havent ever entered anything into a fair, i thiught about entering a miniature build in ours but its this weekend so i have left it too late this year haha
Thank you @jeanneL Painting both of these took a LOT of time. I don’t mind it though, because as stated before, I would be out of room to display them..and probably also broke by getting them done so fast. Everyone improves over time. It doesn’t just happen overnight. I am working on my second mini-house/ room…whatever and it is SO different from the wooden models I really enjoy.

Thanks @Nectarines . I found out about ours a couple of weeks ago, but I didn’t really have anything with a western theme…except the stagecoach. I thought adding the horse might help.

WOW! @Jerry_Boswijk I noticed that there are lots of fall festivals in the Netherlands, but I didn’t see any that actually revolve around /Or feature Arts &Crafts. Maybe just have a look for arts and craft festivals for your area so that you can show off your amazing creations?

It is very pretty. I love the colours. You painted it really well. It’s amazing how you have it a new look. 
That’s the great thing about painting. If you don’t like the color, you can always cover it up. @Tricia12

I have purchased my acrylic paint marker set which will be arriving soon. I want to try colouring it to see if it’s easier than using the brush.
I’m excited for you to try. I use my acrylic pens /markers about 1% of the time…I prefer the brush. Those dang things are expensive..and what if it goes dry in the middle of a project? That’s why I don’t use them myself. I refuse to buy a whole new set when I have like 4 colors I might use. I hope they work out well for you. @Tricia12
