A few days ago i finally started my dream gift factory! I have been busting to do this kit and seeing everyone elses post has made it a harder wait but I wanted to wait a littler closer to december.

I havent taken a lot of photos and dont have many tips, i thought there were probably already enough really detailed posts about this one.

I found the build a good challenge, i did have a few issues but nothing major. The wire for my production sign was almost too short!!! :scream: but i managed to make it work :sweat_smile: i must have dont something to cause that.

Im going to build this one again and paint a lot of the details next time! I might gift this one to family or a friend.

I added a little fake snow but otherwise its all standard. It all works perfectly :ok_hand: so thats a huge plus for me :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

You’ve done a wonderful job! I do love the fake snow. I can’t wait to see what you do with your second one. I will also be gifting my first to my sister when I eventually do my second one because I have different plans for that one.

It was just a bit much for me to wrap my head around what i woukd have wanted to paint without seeing it built. Now i have a much better idea!
Cant wait to see what you do with your second one!

On the space shuttle, I searched the rokr official fans group page and found others who had posted theirs from all angles. This is how I figure it out how I wanted to do mine. Searching the groups is always a great way to find what will actually show. I hope this helps you in the future @Nectarines

I did do that, but i still found it a bit overwhelming for this one. Im not that experienced with rokr or painting the models yet and i just didnt want to mess anything up and ruin it! :sweat_smile:

I can totally understand that. A lot of people feel the same way as you do and it can be intimidating. Since I paint houses, furniture, graphic walls, Etc, I still can’t believe that I never thought to paint my first six or seven models.. LOL! @Nectarines
