Here are my answers.

  1. C- I have done the Gift Factory and it does light up.
  2. C-The Romantic Carousel plays music. I have done this kit.
    3. A-The Manta Ray is in the Mechanical Species Collection
    4. A and C- I have done this one. Instructions state that you can actually place the ball on any track to start. It cannot start in spot B because that is a storage space for the magnetic ball retriever. I have done this one.
    5. C- I have done this one and the Cuckoo Clock can tell time
    6. C-I have done this and the secret compartment is in the base of the model
    7. A and C- I have done the Gift Factory and both parts rotate.
    8.A- I have done this and the parachutes go up and down.
    9.C or D- This one is a bit tricky because the model is called the Starry Night Orrery. I guess we really do not know if this was meant to be planets because it does not appear to have enough “planets” to represent the ones in our Solar system. Since the gold one in the middle may represent the sun, I am going to go more with D, because the Sun is a star, not a planet.

Activity 2 answers: (I didn’t watch any videos but only the pics)

1- C , because the other two are basic sets with only wooden pieces and not light. Also it has more sense for a shop/house to light up!

2- C, I saw it at a shop near my house and it was amazing, it played real music, I fell in love with it!

3- A, the mechanical sets is centered around steampunk insects :stuck_out_tongue:

4- A, the details/top first!

5- C, I can see the watch and it has space to contain a mechanism!

6- C, definitely the only piece with enough space to have something hidden/to can change enough

7- C, you can see the rotation base under the tree!

8- A, this is tricky, but I definitely think the plastic filament is there for a motive. Also it has more sense since they are parachutes!

9- C, the purple in the center left :slight_smile:

For anyone who hasn’t noticed (because it hasn’t been posted in the comments) the description has been updated stating the winners won’t be announced until September 10th

I’m sure they are busy with a lot of events at the moment and they will need to read through everyone’s answers for part of the competition
