One of my childhood dreams was to travel to other countries and see such wonderful landmarks as this one. The Taj Mahal. I still haven’t made it there, but dreams never die.
Coming from a different country when I was young, I did not know about Halloween, Costumes and Candy. My first Halloween remains a precious memory for me. Carving pumpkins, cooking the seeds, collecting chestnuts, and the fall colors. I still dress up when I go out with my kids. My childhood dream was to create costumes that spoke to me when it came around Halloween time. I was going it be an artist when I was young but then became a scientist later on.
I helped my best friend make one on his property!
Have you ever received any coal>? jk
My daughter will be making this for her teacher
Well done and classical novel
If there is a will, there is a way
When I was young, I was obsessed with the universe! I always dreamed about flying through the universe. This starry night music box, reminds me of that dream <33
Your story really resonated with me. I have six brothers and four sisters, so I can relate. We lived in many different homes during my childhood, none of which was large enough for our family. At one point we lived in a 2 bedroom single wide mobile home; (by this time, the two oldest had moved out). My oldest sister had the tiny second bedroom, and of course my parents had the “master” bedroom. The rest of us slept in the living room on the futon/sofa and on the floor. Your post brought back a lot of memories for me. I love your library and your story.
I hope you get to do it soon.
My husband is fascinated with space travel, also. I hope to do this build for him someday.
My kids loved the goonies!
A lot of people really seem to like this build.
I taught myself to sew on a machine when I was ten, so I was also attracted to this charming little build. Maybe someday.
We built all kinds of forts when I was a kid, but never a tree house, not sure why.
It’s hard to beat hot tea and a good book.
This one is a great build. Did you get your field of horses yet?
I grew up without a TV. I would lay in front of my mom’s stereo for hours listening to her country music albums. I think of that when I set this victrola.
