ROBOTIME Community 1st Anniversary event-🌍 Earth 01: Stability(closed)

I love how you highlighted not just the creative joy of coloring and customizing it, but also the careful attention to making sure every mechanism works smoothly.

Picking a globe to represent the Earth Element feels so fitting — it’s literally the shape of our world, and the extra stability it requires mirrors the grounding strength of the element itself.

I admire how you handle every step by hand. From designing and outlining to carefully peeling away the unwanted pieces. Doing that for tens or even hundreds of stickers, especially with fine outlines, takes incredible dedication.

I felt blended to all elements at some point during my building journey. However, Earth might seems to stand out a little more because every time Ị build, I felt deeply connected to the kit that I am doing.
For example: The Rokr Cuckoo Clock. My progress was steady. Because it was such a lovely build Ị was eager to complete it. Ever progress was satisfying. Because the clock does actually work and alot of mechanical components involve Ị was taking my time and enjoy the process. Patience is one of the key factors in successfully make your build work well. So the cuckoo clock was just turn out beautifully.

I felt connected to this clock because it reminds me of my late grandfather. Someone that raised me up and have given me so much love when my father was not around. He is the person that got me involve and understand what it means to be a crafter. He was a carpenter, crafter, farmer etc. I got into understanding and involve in gardening as well. He is a wise man with full of knowledge. So this cuckoo clock just brings back so much beautiful memories. I am always grateful that Robotime team have design kits that brings so much warmth to my heart.

Life can be tough nowadays wherever you are in the world, but if you could find a hobby that brings so much joy and happiness into your life and provide that inner peace, you can conquer any difficulties that you are facing in life. Because for me, building help me to relax and reset everything at the end of the day.

I hope you all experience the best moment through crafting and making memories with your love ones.

Thanks all for reading.

It’s so nice that these help you after a stressful day. Each element affects us all in different journeys and our mindset for each build. Thanks so much for sharing @Tricia12 It is wonderful that you can connect this kit to memories of time with your grandfather as well.

Thank you so much :grinning_face::grinning_face:

Thanks @Nita_Davis . Absolutely. I treasure everything that reminds me of my grandfather. So the cuckoo clock is very special to me.

You are amazing doing 1000 piece jigsaws. I draw the limit at 500 pieces. You’ve done some great ones there.

Beautiful garden Cass. Is that a bougainvillea? It is a beautiful flower.

Your kit is beautiful. Having added sparkles and especially the waterfall makes it definitely unique.

To me, being an “Earth Builder” is all about the joy of the slow down. It’s for those of us who find peace in the quiet focus, who love spending hours on the tiniest details, and who know that the best things take time to grow. Every piece we position, every layer we paint, and every little modification we add becomes part of a bigger story.

To kick things off, I wanted to share one of my own recent projects that truly feels like “Earth” to me

If you know me, you know how much I love customizing my builds to make them personal. Since Keung To absolutely loves hot pot, I decided to take a standard miniature kit and completely transform it into a dedicated hot pot shop filled with custom wording, little dolls, and specialized details. It took a lot of patience, steady hands, and lasting love to get it just right, but that’s exactly what making things is all about!

So glad to be a part of this group. While I am still learning the ropes of this new found hobby, i am so thankful for the support of this community. As a crafter from Hawaii, my passion for crafting began by making leis. From fresh flowers to ribbons, creating something beautiful takes you to a great vast world of imagination. So happy to be here and meet wonderful people

I am building the Disney Castle LEGO set and I chose this for Earth. I love builds that take time and have lots of little details to discover along the way.
I enjoy the process just as much as the finished result, and this is the kind of build I could happily spend hours working on.
For me, every small step is part of the fun and I am taking my time to enjoy the process and building it piece by piece.

This is such a beautiful reflection. I love how your art museum diorama became more than a miniature display and turned into a way of exploring the world through different perspectives, stories, and emotions. It’s amazing how a small space can hold so much meaning, reminding us that beauty, creativity, and connection can be found everywhere if we take the time to look.

I love how you took your time to transform a standard kit into something deeply personal and meaningful. All those custom details, from the hot pot theme to the little dolls and special touches, really show the patience, care, and creativity that went into it. It’s proof that the most memorable builds are often the ones that tell a story that’s uniquely our own.

This is such a heartfelt story. I love how the Cuckoo Clock became more than just a build and turned into a connection to your grandfather and the memories you shared with him. The patience, craftsmanship, and care he passed on to you are reflected in every piece of that clock. It’s beautiful how a hobby can bring us peace in the present while keeping the people we love close to our hearts.

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. The Dreamy Garden House sounds like the perfect kit for someone who has spent years creating a beautiful garden in real life.

I think the craft that had kept me grounded before discovering the Robotime kits was crochet.

I learned some basic crochet at school. But when I rediscovered the craft, I had to learn it again. I did so myself by watching YouTube videos and just trying a little amigurumi figurine.

I love those figurines I made, but the most proud I am about making some cuddly animals. I made the horse for my nephew’s second birthday. And the others were made for someone who wanted to give them to their godchildren as well.

The pig and the cow I made for my brother since he drives a truck loaded with animal feed.

Oh my goodness! These are SO stinkin’ cute! You are very talented!

Thank you @Nita_Davis I’m really glad I took the time to learn it again so I would be able to make these
