I completed Sunset Isle last night, and this one ended up having such a cozy relaxing atmosphere once everything came together. ![]()

The final roof section really pulls the whole scene together, especially once the sunset lighting inside is turned on. One of my favorite surprises with this kit is that it actually has two different lighting modes. The first touch turns on all the lights, and the second touch turns off the ceiling lights while leaving the sunset glow effect going. It completely changes the mood of the scene and honestly makes it feel like late evening on a tiny Mediterranean balcony. ![]()
This build definitely became one where I added little personal touches throughout instead of major changes. I added extra vines across the upper trellis, swapped some of the flowers out for dried floral pieces from my stash, and replaced the paper lemon slices in the drinks with dimensional polymer lemon slices. I also have some tiny dimensional lemons on the way because apparently this kit convinced me I need miniature citrus in my life now. ![]()

There were a few tricky moments along the way too. The adhesive mirrors inside create a really impressive sense of depth, but wow they stick FAST. Once they touch down, there is basically no repositioning them. I definitely recommend leaving the blue protective film on while placing them and only peeling it off afterward with a piece of tape.
I also had one of those classic miniature building moments where I realized I had installed piece C1 backwards only after attaching multiple sections together. Thankfully I managed to carefully fix it without too much frustration. ![]()
I think my favorite thing about this build overall is just how layered and warm it feels once finished. Between the balconies, vines, sunset colors, mirrors, books, drinks, and the little sleeping white cat, it really feels like a tiny peaceful getaway scene. ![]()

Whenever my dimensional lemons finally arrive, I will probably end up posting another update because I already have ideas for where I want to place them. Unfortunately shipping on tiny miniature lemons may take longer than building the actual kit. ![]()

What tiny detail in a miniature build usually pulls your attention first?
